Ron Paul Interview With John Stossel

Posted by Brian Bailey on December 10, 2007

John Stossel from 20/20 recently interviewed Dr. Paul. For whatever reason, ABC decided not to air the interview on television. Instead, they are airing the hour’s worth of footage in segments on their website.

These videos (and I’m sure the ones to come) are excellent because they allow the doctor to elucidate some key points on what many people consider to be controversial subjects. Stossel asks him about everything from drug use to prostitution to the Department of Education. “Do you want to get rid of these things, and if so, why?” is the gist of his questioning.

The reason that this is all so beneficial, and the reason that you might consider forwarding these videos to your friends, is that John Stossel is himself a Libertarian and indeed is one of the few people Ron Paul has personally mentioned as an individual who might be appointed to a cabinet position in a Paul administration. In other words, in this video the interviewer is actually not trying to make Dr. Paul look bad.
