They were undershooting so they could get 3rd in the first two states…they weren’t far off in either. They didn’t WANT first, as it’s politically bad with super tuesday so far off (call it the buchannon effect).
Then comes the media blitz, you WILL see the money, and they WILL be targeting proper demographics now that they have the info, this is how he has won all of his elections. No other republican can effectively use the demographic information (fix the economy, end the war).
I don’t know anything beyond that other than they are hoping for others to drop out so he gets more air time during debates.

If they can pull the following off, it would be the greatest election coup in history:
Parity of wins gives each candidate a few days in the sun, or a few days of good grilling by the conservative media for their undesirable chances. Huck’s vast tax and spending, McCain’s amnesty fiasco and McCain-Feingold, all of Rudy’s baggage from NYC, and Thompson’s lack of enthusiasm and personality all weigh on the mind of the Republican voters. Look at the first two primary winners for Iowa and NH:
Do you think people from the more liberal states are going to look at Huckabee and actually say, “I’ll vote for him”? No, they’re gonna see that record of his and remind themselves that they would never do that. He won Iowa, now he placed 3rd in NH.
Do you think people from the South and West are going to look at McCain and not remember the amnesty BS? They’re not going to vote for him. He placed 3rd in Iowa. In NH he pulled off a win. Is he going to win in Michigan or SC? No way.
As for second place, do you think people are going to look at Romney after he blew all his chances on two states, and consider him an electable candidate? When he polls at 12% nationally? And all of those flip flops from his days as governor?
He notices that Hillary is being built up as the comeback girl, which causes splinters in Obama’s support among independents. They end up looking for a new option, and it ain’t Edwards.
Meanwhile, Paul sits back; he lets the media in Iowa and NH do his polling work for him - with real election results, not opinion polls. He lets his opponents spend themselves into debt. He allows each one of them a few days in the spotlight to allow Republican voters to remember why they suck. He figures out what voting blocs are voting on what issue, and how independent voters are swinging. Using this he super-targets on the winning issues with his 20 million dollar war chest in the 2 weeks prior to super Tuesday (to get the most bang for the buck) while the grassroots continues, and the blimp flies on in SC and Florida.

It’s not like it’s really a secret, Mike. On top of that, there’s nothing anybody could do about it even if they wanted to, which they can’t and don’t.
The ONLY thing anyone could do would be to perhaps try and buy TV time so that we can’t, but that won’t work either because they don’t have any money and we have lots. I have also heard rumors that we pre-ordered a bunch of national TV time already at a discounted rate.
Most importantly, I think it is vital that we rally the troops because morale is a little low right now.

Sad as I was last night, I’m going to go on. If Benito and Fredrick of Hollywood aren’t dropping out of the race, why should we? I have no idea of there is a real plan, but in a few months Ron Paul went from <1% to just about 10. The message is getting out. In the worst case, he’s paving the way for other great Libertarian candidates down the line
I do wish he would hire some debate coaches, though. He could still make the exact some point and sound a bit more polished. Its important.
Good stuff. I think the good thing is that the Republican race is wide open… There’s no clear runaway front runner. I think Republicans are still second guessing all of the so called front runners. McCain and Huckabee both have a lot of people who find them unacceptable.

Folks, haven’t you researched by now just HOW Ron won his ten elections as a representative? He’s using the EXACT same strategy, the one described above. Check out his election in 1996, where he had to defeat a fellow Republican that the establishment was running to replace him.
The man knows exactly what he is doing. He’s playing the long race, and he’s making the rest of the field look like fools right now.
I have screenshots for proof that as more counties reported in Ron Paul’s vote tally actually went down. I also have the file for what the Boston Globe actually reported before someone apparently went in and changed it.

I agree with Steve OBrien about Captain Obvious’s comments — I want to see more. Also, you should post that (along with some links to articles or videos or something that show evidence) everywhere you can, especially on facebook. I also agree that morale is low in some places. It’s helping me to get on here and read other RP supporters’ encouraging comments, but I don’t know if everyone is as optimistic — ok, maybe they are since they’re RP supporters.
Still, we need to do whatever we can to encourage people and we need to keep praying for Dr. Paul and all his supporters!

Everyone supporting Ron Paul needs to remember something VERY IMPORTANT.
By supporting Ron Paul, you’re supporting his message. As long as he has donations to the campaign, he can continue to promote this message.
As his message gets adopted by the other candidates, which has already started happening, this will add to the discussion and debates that will occur. As an example, this occurred with the “illegal immigrant” message from Tom Tancredo, and he did it, it’s part of the debate now, and will continue to be so.
Therefore, no matter what happens with Ron, in the end his message will be heard and included in this election cycle, and that’s good for all of us.
So don’t cry, be proud, and congratulate yourself for supporting a candidate that really wants to return the United States to greatness.

Well, the official campaign is either very smart or very dumb. I have yet to see or hear a Ron Paul ad that really sets him apart. The first two ads were abysmal, and the follow-ups didn’t differentiate him from the other candidates.
Ron Paul is blameless here, but his campaign staff had better pick it up and actually put out some ads that show how he’s different from the other Republicans if they plan to show America who he really is.
Don’t underestimate the doctor! He knows what he is doing! All of us Ron Paul supporters should show our confidence and believe that he will win because he is the most intelligent out of the rest. Even for the other campaigners it’s ‘campaigning as usual’. For Ron Paul it’s doing what he does best: winning. He believes in what he is doing and he is confident that he will win. Do you believe in him? Give him credit and extend your confidence to him so that he doesn’t feel alone. We are in this fight together as a team!
When I see people driving on the freeway with ‘Ron Paul for President’ signs on their vehicle, I honk at them and give them a thumbs up to let them know that I’m in this fight with them. Do the same for Ron Paul when you see him anywhere (t.v., radio, etc.).
Remember, Ron Paul is not only fighting for us–he is also our fellow American and we need to stand alongside him in this war against mediocrity.

I really hope things look up for us but, if we don’t address the possible vote fraud in IA and NH, how will it make a difference what is spent in the upcoming primary states? I mean, the win was snatched out of Obama’s hands in NH, so how to overcome? I’m all for going on, but we cannot allow RP voters to be robbed, either, after all RP’s work and our donations….

I hope you are right about the “secret plan”. The only reason I am concerned about Tsunami Tuesday is this. The establishment GOP changed the rules for the Presidential Primaries here in California and in many other states.
When they moved the Presidential portion (only) of the primary from June to February, they also, very quietly and without fanfare, CLOSED the primary to registered Republicans ONLY. (The Dems left theirs “open”, which means they will get the independent/declined to state voters)
This establishment GOP strategy was implemented over a year ago, when Ron Paul wasnt even on the radar, to eliminate the possibility of McCain getting the delegates because of his popularity with moderates and independents. However, it also works against Ron Paul, especially since many of his supporters are more independent, are Democrats, and are not politically “savvy”.
And the Republican Party has kept these new requirements out of the public eye deliberately.
So…unlike the General Election, the Feb 5th primaries are going to be limited to those same Republicans who are “polled” on landline phones and didnt leave the Party in 2004-2006.
For the past 6 months I have supported Ron Paul and tried to get the message across that precinct walking and knocking on doors of registered Republicans is NOT the best use of our time. My experience has been, at least here in the California suburbs, that the BEST way to get out the vote for your candidate AND get out the message is to do voter registration for your candidates Party in front of supermarkets, park and rides, main street corners. libraries, post offices, etc.
Hopefully, the message has gotten out, and our grassroots volunteers have ALL been registering NEW Republicans who will vote for Ron Paul on February 5th. But in the meantime, do what you can to make it happen, become poll watchers, and get out the vote!
I see alot of things going that pulls others dowm, and don`t know what is going on or were to go with this election. And there are other that are holding this hole campane together because to them there is no bad news it is all good news. Our network has run free Ron Paul ads in support and had a bunch of “meet up” group people on various shows as guests in support and I, as the owner and having my own show, have vigorously supported Ron Paul.
Now there is a problem. Ron Paul refuses to challenge the results in NH. He says he has looked at the evidence and it was all on the up and up. He says that resources need to be spend in other battles, apparently spending millions with the enemy mainstream media that hates Ron Paul. All this while OUR votes get stolen.

I understand the problems with voting computers and voting fraud. But there is no way we will be able to get the votes recounted. If we try and fail this will be just ammo for Ron Paul’s enemies. They already label us as conspiracy nuts and that will only give them arguments.
Sometimes you have to simply *take* a punch in the face to win a fight, even if it is unjust and wrong. And if they hit us in this way think of how you might even help them further by reacting exactly the way they want you to react.

He said something about “wait until Super Tuesday” and something about “my supporters sent me this money to go ALL THE WAY and I am planning on spending it to do just that”. The way he just blew off the accusations of vote rigging in NH?
