So I went to lunch and Romney decided to pull out of the race.  I need to go out to lunch more often, apparently.

I say he pulled out of the race and not “quit” because as you have probably heard by now he  suspended his campaign but did not end it entirely.  There are a lot of nuances to this process that I was previously unaware of.

Basically it appears that the GOP in each state will get to redistribute his delegates.  That’s not entirely accurate, though.  There are exceptions and arcane rules in certain states.  I need to learn more about it but I’m too busy at the moment to do the necessary footwork.
