The Talk Around the Dinner Table

At the family gathering I attended yesterday there was a lot of support for Ron Paul. The support came from life-long Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike. What’s more, all of their opinions were formed completely independently of me; this was not some sort of trickle-down Paulunteer effect.

Needless to say, I was very excited by this turn of events. My optimism towards the election has increased exponentially in just the last 24 hours.

It seems that I am not the only one who had this sort of experience yesterday. At family gatherings all across the country Ron Paul was the topic around Christmans trees and dinner tables. People at Daily Paul are sharing their stories of finding political allies yesterday who were previously unknown to them.

This has happened at exactly the right time. All around the country yesterday hundreds of thousands of people were encouraged to find that they were not alone in their support of Ron Paul- far from it. Hundreds of thousands of people learned about Ron Paul for the first time and they will be out here on the internet today Googling, learning, and becoming involved in the Revolution.

Our momentum is building ferociously at exactly the right time.

  1. I made a journal entry about Ron Paul on my website awhile back. Several of my friends have since told me how much they’ve been hearing about him, and about how they’re finally going to have to look into him.

It’s great the way this movement keeps spreading exponentially. I love it!

  3. My wife and I have a Bible Study with 3 other couples every Friday night. Two weeks ago I was pleasantly shocked to find out that 2 of the other couples are huge Ron Paul supporters. We’re all still working on the 3rd couple.

Last Sunday after Mass, a family at my parish was handing out Ron Paul bumperstickers and people were taking them, I noticed on Christmas, that some of those bumperstickers made it onto people’s cars.

There’s one thing for sure, alot of traditional Catholics are behind Ron Paul, perhaps I should start a website.
