Paulunteer housekeeping

by: Brian Bailey February 23, 2008

I’ve been putting off doing this for a while now but I feel the need to open some dialogue on a few things relating to the website. Please skip this if you were hoping for any news or other important tidbits.
As the regulars are keenly aware, updates to The Paulunteer have decreased dramatically in […]

Some thoughs on the Ron Paul supporters march on Washington D.C.

by: Brian Bailey February 12, 2008

There must be considerable forethought put into the plan.  Here are some suggestions:

DO NOT alienate people by using narrow themes. The theme must be inviting to everyone in the Revolution.
Choose the best date possible.  If there is a government holiday with a 3 day weekend, use it.
Pick the right venue.  We need a […]

Chris Peden, running against Ron Paul, “I am a proven conservative” (with poor grammar)

by: Brian Bailey February 9, 2008

Chris Peden, running against Ron Paul for the House of Representatives, wants English to be the official language of the United States. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know how to use it himself.
He writes on his website:
I am a proven conservative Republican; the incumbent is a self-described Libertarian. I support winning the Global War on Terror […]

Now There Are Three

by: Brian Bailey February 7, 2008

New graphic at RonPaul2008.com.
So I went to lunch and Romney decided to pull out of the race.  I need to go out to lunch more often, apparently.
I say he pulled out of the race and not “quit” because as you have probably heard by now he  suspended his campaign but did not end it entirely.  […]

Stop Calling Maine GOP - From Campaign Headquarters

by: Brian Bailey February 5, 2008

Dear grassroots Ron Paul supporters:
It has come to my attention that the Maine State Republican party is being flooded with calls from around the country, complaining about the results of the presidential preference poll conducted at the caucuses held around Maine last weekend. I am asking all of you to PLEASE STOP these calls and […]

Ron Paul eliminated in first round of West Virginia convention

by: Brian Bailey February 5, 2008

These numbers come from the live stream of the convention.
Romney 464
Huckabee 375
McCain 176
Paul 118
Paul delegates will have to choose someone else to vote for in the second round and voting will continue in this manner with the lowest vote-getter eliminated until someone gets over 51%.

Here we go.

by: Brian Bailey February 5, 2008

Alright, everybody, this is it.  Don’t look back tomorrow or next year or in twenty years and wish you had done something more.  Get on the horn to your friends and family and turn out as many voters as you can for Ron Paul!
Remember that you can campaign 100 ft from the polling place.  Election […]

Big storm brewing for Super Tuesday; benefits Ron Paul?

by: Brian Bailey February 4, 2008

As you can see, a severe storm is going to hit a big chunk of the country tomorrow.  This can only benefit us because as we all know, a Ron Paul supporter will vote, even if they have to get in a boat to navigate flooded streets.

Somebody buy CNN a copy of Photoshop

by: Brian Bailey February 4, 2008

Apparently they don’t know how to resize images to fit 4 pictures in the same space as 3.
Their top story is about the “GOP contenders” and of course they do not show Ron Paul. In the article they mention him once at the very bottom.

Are you in a Super Tuesday state? Go phone bank!

by: Brian Bailey February 4, 2008

I just took a time out from phone banking here to ask everyone to please help out with this effort.
In Illinois we have been charged with calling a huge list of known Ron Paul supporters. This list is big enough that we could win Illinois, but we need to make sure everyone goes to […]
